The cottages — Dhamsa and Madal — feature mud interiors, handcrafted décor by local artisans and wide glass windows that open the rooms towards the garden and vegetation outside. A private sitting area in front of each cottage creates a peaceful space to sit, read or simply watch the landscape. The bamboo forest at the back adds to the natural setting.

Earth, Nature & Modern Comfort

The use of earthen mud gives Mati Bari its distinctive character and a naturally cooler feel, while air conditioning provides additional comfort. Each cottage has two beds and can accommodate up to four adults and a small child.

With two private cottages together, Mati Bari can accommodate up to 8 guests across four beds, making it suitable for families travelling together, couples, senior citizens, small groups and even a relaxed corporate weekend.
